We took Kaiel out to Escondido today for his first high school cross country meet.
First thing we discovered when we arrived was....
(Kaiel) "I forgot my team running shirt!"
(Dad) "Wasn't it with all your stuff you packed up last night?"
(Kaiel) "I don't know, I thought so?"
No biggy I guess but coach Gordy was a bit bummed.
The way I look at it is hey, at least he is wearing the extra short running shorts that he absolutely hates.
Kaiel was lucky to have a support crew of Tom, Sue, Dave, Holly, Sienna and Joey show up. Thanks guys.
The two mile race started after 11AM and included a decent hill on the second loop.
